Inspirational People Can Be Found Everywhere
You can find inspiration everywhere you look. Click Control Marketing has been incredibly lucky to meet one of these inspiring people firsthand. Bailey Bish is a 22-year-old golfer with an incredible drive to succeed. She has shown us here at Click Control Marketing that anything is possible if you put your mind to it, and she has inspired us to continue working our hardest both in the office and in our personal lives.
In 2021 our founder and CEO Walt, an avid golfer himself, had the opportunity to attend the National Amputee Golf Association (NAGA) tournament in Las Vegas. While there he met Bailey Bish, a young golfer whose attitude reminded him so much of the Click Control Marketing values he grew his business on throughout the years.
Bailey has always been an athlete, wanting to compete every chance she got. She grew up playing softball, basketball, and volleyball just to name a few. However, her journey with sports became complicated when Bailey went in for sinus surgery in 2014 to fix a deviated septum and bone spur at just 14 years old. This sinus surgery lead to complications and ended up leaving her with an infection two weeks later. The resulting infection gave Bailey chronic health complications. She was eventually diagnosed with a movement disorder called hemidystonia which affects the right side of her body. Even with these painful and sometimes debilitating complications, Bailey laces up her golf shoes and gets out on the course every chance she gets.
Walt was moved by Bailey’s positive attitude and her advocacy for the sport! Bailey volunteers for several local adaptive sports organizations, all with the goal of helping to grow adaptive golf. She provides lessons for other adaptive athletes interested in taking up the sport.
Golf became a very big part of Bailey’s rehabilitation, as it keeps her up and active, and gets her muscles moving. She has been making great improvements since beginning golf. Bailey no longer needs to lean her whole body on crutches to get to and from her ball on the golf course and she can play 9 holes without passing out. Not only has Bailey made waves as an athlete, but she has also been able to use her story to help others. In 2020, Bailey became the first female member of the first Collegiate Adaptive Golf Team in the U.S., which was started by the University of Arizona. Playing golf gave Bailey the ability to compete in a sport, be outside with others, and inspire everyone to overcome their own obstacles to do what they love!
Bailey’s hard work and positive attitude have inspired us at Click Control Marketing to support others in the adaptive golf community. We are honored to be Bailey’s sponsor and to become more involved in this group of incredibly inspiring individuals. Bailey has shown that she represents all the best values at Click Control Marketing. Her transparency and authenticity show in the way she tells her story and uses it to help countless others with their journeys. Bailey has displayed immeasurable adaptability since beginning her golf journey. She has adapted the game to work best for her and her innovation has paid off beautifully. Her love and joy for the sport shows and is one of the most inspiring parts of Bailey.
Thank You For Inspiring Us, Bailey!
We at Click Control Marketing are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with someone whose drive to succeed has pushed them from good to great. We are looking forward to continuing our journey with Bailey and are cheering for her always. Thank you, Bailey!
